Catherine Zeta-Jones celebrated her beloved husband Michael Douglas’s 80th birthday in a bold and unique way. As an unusual gift for her husband, with whom she has been married for 25 years, the star shared a revealing photo of herself standing in a bathroom wearing only heels. Zeta-Jones, who recently celebrated her own 55th birthday, mentioned it in the caption.
“In my birthday suit! After more than 25 years of celebrating my husband’s birthday, I’m running out of gift ideas!” she wrote. “This was the second gift idea—golf balls were the first, of course,” she joked.
Catherine also shared a more traditional birthday tribute to Michael, posting an archival photo where Douglas hugs her shoulders and kisses her cheek.
“Happy birthday to Michael and me! This was our birthday 25 years ago!” she captioned the black-and-white photo. “I love you with all my heart. Our friend took this photo of us in New York!”
The celebrations didn’t stop there—Zeta-Jones also shared a video of herself and musician Bono singing the traditional “Happy Birthday” song, which was filmed by Douglas himself.
“Thank you to my family, friends, and my wonderful ‘Wednesday’ family for making my birthday so special,” she wrote in the caption. “And Bono! Well, for being Bono and singing like no one else,” the star concluded.
