James Middleton, Kate Middleton’s younger brother, has published his memoir *“Meet Ella: The Dog Who Saved My Life,”* where he discusses his infrequent communication with his well-known sister. In a recent excerpt highlighted by journalists, he shared his insights on Kate’s relationship with Prince William.
James revealed that Prince William needed to earn his trust. At first, he closely observed the prince and gradually recognized that William genuinely cared for Catherine.
“I remember evaluating him when we first met. Did he deserve my sister? He had to prove himself to me,” James reflected.
Additionally, William spent significant time with the Middleton family, always striving to ease tensions during family disputes over minor issues, such as card games.
William’s affection for animals also helped him gain favor with the Middletons. James quickly observed how the prince earned the approval of his cherished dog, Ella. In time, Prince William became integrated into the Middleton family.
“William has been part of our lives for so long, and we’ve grown to care for him deeply. He feels like an older brother to us, and he and Catherine are such a perfect match, truly made for one another. William is fortunate to have married my capable and down-to-earth sister. I was completely confident that they loved each other. It was heartwarming to see how he boosted her confidence. She truly flourished. I knew he would look after her, and he still does,” he concluded.
Earlier, Kate Middleton had shared in a video that she had undergone a chemotherapy course.
