Sydney Moore, Lord’s mother, recounted the terrifying ordeal. As the tornado hit, she protected her one-year-old son, Princeton, while her boyfriend rushed to save Lord, who was in a bassinet. The violent winds lifted the bassinet, hurling it through the air. Amazingly, Lord survived despite being tossed around by the powerful storm.
Once the tornado passed, Moore’s first concern was locating her baby in the debris. What they discovered was astonishing: Lord had landed behind a tree, his face severely injured. Moore believes it’s nothing short of a miracle that Lord survived, given the severity of his injuries. The family had to navigate through the wreckage to get medical help. Lord suffered a fractured shoulder, along with injuries to his head and ear. Near their home, the remains of the bassinet serve as a stark reminder of their ordeal and resilience.
