Patrick Mast became well-known for their distinctive appearance, which they meticulously fashioned to resemble a doll. From the age of 18, Patrick has devoted more than ten years to altering their look, spending $73,000 on cosmetic procedures to achieve what they describe as a “plastic aesthetic.”
Patrick’s journey into this unique form of self-expression reflects a deep admiration for a doll-like appearance. Despite undergoing extensive enhancements, Patrick has emphasized that they have no intention of changing their gender. They prefer a more feminine look that they believe complements their natural features better. Patrick explained, “It’s easier for me to adapt to a female face because my natural features weren’t very masculine.”
Since embarking on their transformation at 18, Patrick has undergone regular monthly filler treatments for various facial areas, such as the lips, chin, under-eye region, and cheeks, in addition to Botox injections every three months. They have spent £45,500 on Botox and other cosmetic treatments, including fillers, rhinoplasty, and facelifts, in pursuit of a perfectly symmetrical, doll-like appearance.
Patrick’s dedication to attaining this ideal mirrors their fascination with the flawless perfection epitomized by dolls. They are constantly refining their features to emulate this aesthetic. While their distinctive style often attracts attention and occasional ridicule, Patrick remains unaffected. They said, “I like the attention I get after a procedure. But not all of it is positive. I’ve been called a monster, but ultimately, everyone has the right to look how they want.”
Patrick acknowledges that their appearance can elicit strong reactions, but they believe that the criticism speaks more about others than about them. They added, “My look causes more of a problem for other people than it does for me.
The surgery is my choice, and I live with the consequences. Some people assume I’m not intelligent because I look like Barbie, but if they took the time to talk to me, they’d realize I’m quite normal and intelligent.”
