Melanie Griffith is still an actor, but she doesn’t make as many movies as she used to. She acted in two films in 2017: James Franco’s *The Disaster Artist* and the biographical picture *The Pirates of Somalia*, which starred Evan Peters and Al Pacino as journalist Jay Bahadur. The actress battled these addictions for thirty years, going to specialist classes and even enrolling herself in recovery facilities in order to conquer them.
Despite these obstacles, Griffith is still hopeful about falling in love and starting a relationship. She had two marriages to actor Don Johnson among her four marriages. She has four children from her previous marriages: Dakota Johnson and her stepson Jesse Johnson from Don Johnson, daughter Stella Banderas from Antonio Banderas, and son Alexander Bauer from Steven Bauer. Melanie keeps up positive ties with her children’s fathers. They’re all three of my friends. With all of my heart, I adore them,” the actress said.
Griffith loves her kids and thinks it’s important to keep a tight relationship with them. “I still make a point of spending a lot of time with my children, as I have always done.
I discuss everything with them,” Griffith said. She had a new tattoo in July 2023 in their honor to replace the one from the 1990s that was in honor of Antonio Banderas. Her four children’s names are placed in a crossword pattern on her new tattoo.
